Every day for a week
before The Laughlin River Run, we where checking the weather to see if
we where going to get roasted like last year!
As the day approached, all reports said it was going to be in the
high 80’s for the weekend and for once the weather man was right!!
Except for a little wind, we couldn’t have asked for better
weather!

Once again Harley
Davidson took over an entire block next to the Riverside Casino in
Laughlin. Many
manufacturers attend the Laughlin River Run, but only Harley Davidson
comes to play their “A” game.
It’s not hard to miss
the “Company” guys because they don’t just have one painted flashy Big
Rig, they bring three Big Rigs, a Fuel Station, a “Big Top” tent and
about 40 brand new Harley Davidson Motorcycles.

Surprise from Victory?

In the past few years, for the most
part, the Victory Display was just another obstacle to get around to
check out something cool.
It’s not because I have anything against the Motorcycles themselves,
after all the “Grand Daddy” of all things cool about Motorcycles, Arlen
Ness, is very much involved with the company, but because after several
times visiting our local dealership in Bakersfield California, I have
been blown off, talked down to, and twice just ignored, so I lost
interest in Victory Motorcycles real quick.
